  • Ravneet Grewal

As a NSF research grant recipient, Ravneet’s life-long interest in social equity led her to study how land use and the physical structure of ancient human settlements reflected social equity and the health of the surrounding environmental and social ecosystem. She explored this further in the modern world at Harvard, which eventually led her to become interested in access to quality food, education as a universal right. A long struggle with a chronic disease had the silver lining of stimulating interest in nutrition and food safety.
